Gifts From The Earth, Inc
Established in 2015, Gifts From The Earth, Inc is a non-profit organization serving as an advocacy group for District of Columbia residents who seek the truth about cannabis and it's medical benefits. To be properly educated on Initiative 71, the District's Medical Marijuana Program and also promote a better overstanding of alternative methods of consuming cannabis whether it be for Medicinal or Recreational purposes through various educational programs and giveaways.

Initiative 71

Initiative 71 which is the District of Columbia law that legalized the recreational use of cannabis for adults 21+ years of age, became effective at 12:01a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015 yet the majority of the qualifying residents of the District are still either unaware of the new law or they are miseducated on what the new law actually permits and what is still a criminal violation of the District of Columbia's Laws. Gifts From The Earth is currently hosting one hour classes on Initiative 71 at local community centers throughout Washington, DC FREE OF CHARGE to all District of Columbia residents.

Medical Marijuana Program
D.C. Act 13-138 which initially legalized the medical use of cannabis is now D.C. Law 13-315 became effective at 12:01 a.m. Thursday , February 25, 2010. With a population of over 658,893 residents only 3,000 residents have registered with the Department of Health to receive a medical marijuana card.
Gifts From The Earth, Inc is offering classes on D.C. Law 13-315 teaching District of Columbia residents the laws that regulate the medical use of marijuana in D.C. as well as an opprotunity to receive their medical marijuana card FREE OF CHARGE.

Edibles Giveaway
In accordance with Initiative 71 and in efforts of supporting the District of Columbia governments decision to legalize the recreational use of cannabis for adults 21+ years of age, and to allow those DC residents 21 and over that wish to consume recreational cannabis can do so legally, Gifts From The Earth will be hosting monthly giveaways of cannabis-infused edibles. For a list of scheduled giveaways click on the link on the main menu. All of our giveaways are 100% FREE of charge, we DO NOT accept donations in exchange for edibles. YOU MUST BE 21 years of age or older to participate in the Giveaways.

A key to the success of the cannabis movement is unity, the empowerment of others in the cannabis community and that all businesses or non profits are properly organized/incorporated, structured and staffed. Gifts From The Earth, Inc offers assistance with the preparation of the following documents ; Articles of Organization, Articles of Incorporation, Business Licensing, Grant Proposals, Marketing Strategies, etc.
